    My Fortress Townsville is a leading Financial Planning firm servicing the wider North Queensland region for over 30 years. Its unique business partnership with the Fit for Life Financial Group (FFLFG) provides a unique business offering, providing holistic financial advice. In addition to financial planning, the FFLFG also offers tax and accounting services (Austax) and mortgage broking (My Mortgage Partner). Key role responsibilities: Providing ongoing service and advice to a book of existing clients and building strong client relationships Provide advice to new and existing clients in compliance with My Fortress Licensee Standards Provide coaching and mentoring support to Advisers, Associate Advisers and Paraplanners Provide internal support and collaboration to Group Clients with My Mortgage Partner and Austax Townsville Experience and Attributes: The successful applicant should possess the following attributes: Met FASEA approved education qualifications High level of verbal and written communication.   • Undergraduate Financial Adviser
    At My Fortress, we have over 30 years of experience in mentoring and training undergraduate students throughout their career journey, right through to becoming a fully qualified Financial Adviser. With over 65 staff members in our team, we are looking for our future stars. Whether you are in your first or third year of university studies, My Fortress has designed a Financial Adviser program that will enable you to learn all aspects of the financial planning process. You would commence in the administration team where you will learn the core skills in supporting the advice team, transition to paraplanning to develop your technical skills, as well as complete the FASEA professional year. The program can be offered as a part-time working arrangement while you complete your university studies. This is an exciting, team focused role which will require excellent time management skills. Other skills you will have include: High level of verbal and written communication. High standard of Microsoft Office competency. Proactive approach and problem-solving ability. Client focused. Ability to work autonomously. Experience and Attributes: The successful applicant should possess the following attributes: Completing a Graduate Degree in Business, Commerce, Financial Planning, Accounting, Economics or Finance.
